Stainless LLC has obtained AISC fabrication certification to the new "Building Standard". This is the newly revised and revamped certification, which includes both fabrication processes and management responsibilities. The certification process was completed over 14 months and entailed documenting and implementing 21 mandatory procedures.

The procedures included:

  • Contract and Project Specification Review

  • Preparation of Shop and Erection Drawings

  • Control of Documents and Quality Records

  • Purchasing

  • Selection of Vendors and Subcontractors

  • Material Identification

  • Weld Procedures and Qualification of Welders

  • Equipment Maintenance

  • Inspection and Testing

  • Control of Nonconformities and Corrective Action

Stainless LLC has always followed AISC requirements and the new ownership in March 2004 continues to place a high priority on maintaining certification. AISC certification means that Stainless LLC is committed to quality and process improvement. We have a Quality Management System to ensure up to date product standards are met before a product leaves our fabrication shop. We also maintain a written Quality Manual in compliance with AISC Certification.

Stainless LLC understands that our customers require and deserve quality and being AISC certified adds a level of confidence that we will meet that requirement. The certification ensures the personnel, organization, experience, procedures, knowledge, equipment and commitment to produce quality fabricated steel are in place for every customer's project.
